Individualized Care for low risk births

We respect your birth choices, and will do our best to provide competent respectful care within parameters you are comfortable.

  • Delayed Cord Clamping is our standard practice with immediate skin to skin at birth.

  • We delay any unnecessary interactions with the baby until after the golden hour (unless the baby is needing more support)

  • We welcome partner’s involvement in the birth

  • We welcome and encourage you to have whatever support persons you desire at the birth

  • We encourage active labors and have designed the space to support natural physiologic birth

  • We accept most insurances and state medical (medicaid).

  • We have an “Open model” with other midwives in the area also having privileges to use our birth center.

Our Birth Cottage is designed to support your birth experience

Use of the Birth Sling can help provide support, reposition, or for you to maintain upright posture during pushing.

We also provide a tens unit with disposable patches if you would like to try it.

Theater Surround Sound throughout the birthing space which you control with your bluetooth. Bring your playlists, whether you want soft background sounds or dance music at full volume, we are here for it!

Large ADA bathroom connected to the birth suite, with a large accommodating shower and seat. Room for a birth ball if you want water on your back during labor, or for cleaning up after labor and birth.

Hydrotherapy or water birth. We call the pool “the midwives epidural”. Whether you desire to labor in the pool and birth “on land” or if you are desiring a full water birth, we will do our best to support you.
